SANTO DOMINGO.-Un incendio se produjo en horas de la madrugada en el área de vacunas del hospital infantil Robert Read Cabral, lo que provocó que fuera cerrada.

El fuego, cuyo origen se investiga, se registró a las 2:00 de la madrugada de hoy. 

Empleados dicen que el área está chamuscada, con sus asientos quemados, pero se cree que el refrigerador donde se mantienen las vacunas no recibió grandes daños.

Mientras tanto se habilitará otra área para continuar el programa inmunización en horas de la tarde y mañana jueves.
